Persephone and Demeter reunited in a Spring Field
Origins of Cora Therapy

Cora is inspired by Greek Mythology and the story of Persephone. Persephone's journey is often looked at using a Jungian interpretation, as it represents the process of individuation and explores themes of life, rebirth, self-discovery, and the process of transformation.

Persephone begins her journey inexperienced and unaware of the power that she holds within herself. Her descent into "Queen of the Underworld" symbolizes a pull into the unconscious, whether it be through trauma or unexplored emotions, in which she confronts the unconscious. Upon her emergence, she has new insights into herself and is able to integrate both the light and the darkness she has learned along the way.

With Cora Therapy, this is a representation of what I work with my clients to achieve. Although you may be dealing with things that can feel intimidating and difficult to work through, I work with my clients to navigate their healing and recovery by learning more about themselves and building resilience through discovery.
